RWC & HOME Launch Secure Site for Uploading Confidential Information

Residential Warranty Company, LLC and HOME of Texas recently launched a secure portal on each company website for members and prospective members to use in uploading information to the home warranty companies. Instead of emailing, faxing or mailing documents for new memberships, renewal memberships or home warranty resolution matters, the upload portal allows for secure transfer of data electronically, efficiently and economically. Look for the Secure File Upload links on either the RWC or HOME home warranty company site and follow the simple prompts to send documents securely.

RWC and HOME have been diligently making updates to their systems to streamline procedures for members. Starting in January 2013, the Renewal Application was shortened and an “Evergreen” feature was instituted to the Membership Agreements. Now, members have fewer renewal questions to answer and once the Evergreen Addendum is signed, the need to resign membership agreements going forward was eliminated. In March 2013, the new home warranty companies moved to an online membership renewal process to speed up the time it takes to process members’ renewals and reduce the amount of paperwork required. Beginning April 2013 and continuing through August 2013, full color eye-catching warranty books replaced the boring black and white variety in RWC’s Customized State Warranty Program. Full color warranty books became available for RWC’s standard 10-year home warranties including the ones specific to Maryland, New Castle County, DE and New Jersey in December 2013 through April 2014. The RWC site was completely revamped in February 2014 and the newly redesigned HOME site was launched in November 2014. October 2014 saw the commencement of online validation, a system allowing homeowners the ability to view, save or print their warranty documents from an online system. Now, both warranty companies cap off 2014 with the secure upload portal.

Still on tap is a website redesign for RWC’s other affiliate, MHWC, the leader in new home warranties for the HUD-Code housing industry. Company representatives anticipate that launch in early 2015. Stay tuned!
