Texas has been an important state to Residential Warranty Company, LLC from the very beginning. So when the opportunity arose for RWC to acquire HOME, Senior Management jumped at it. Since 1994, HOME of Texas has been affiliated with RWC, issuing warranties to Texas builders and doing so while maintaining high expectations for the qualifications of builders in the program, the technical standards to which our warranties adhere and the efficiency with which HOME attends to service. These are lofty goals which would be next to impossible to achieve if not for the expert support provided by the Houston administrative office staff.

Susan is the office manager for HOME of Texas and has been with the company since 1983, even before its merger with RWC. Her warranty experience has grown as HOME evolved into an RWC affiliate. Susan has typed policies, processed enrollments and inspections, evaluated builder approvals and renewals, done marketing, accounting and even warranty resolution. Her well rounded background makes Susan invaluable to HOME and its membership. Now she and LJ provide sales support for the two Texas Account Executives and Builder support for the hundreds of members across the state. Additionally, they process postal projects for RWC nationally. Priding herself on being a "problem solver", Susan works hard to either resolve the issue herself or locate someone who can assist with the problem. She is a good sounding board as well when Builders or homeowners have ideas for future programs or services.

Susan, her husband Keith and their two sons, Bryan and Tad, live in the Houston area. Susan devotes a great deal of her time to a variety of volunteer activities in her community: Boy Scouts of America, the High School 9 Optimist Club, Project Prom, Teacher Appreciation, Octagon Club, Parent Forum, Pantera Dance Team Auditor, & Athletic Booster Club), American Heart Association, and her Church (Baking Ministry, Babysitting, Helping Hands, CCE classes, Church Festival, Children's Booth, Prayer Group, & Bear Creek Assistance Ministries). When not giving of her time and talents, Susan enjoys majhongg, bunco, water aerobics and reading.
