The business of building homes has always fascinated RWC Account Executive, Kevin Gwyn. While attending Towson University in Towson, Maryland, Kevin worked with several local homebuilders, building homes that ranged from quaint starter homes to elegant estate homes. When he received his degree, he added to his knowledge of the building industry while employed at Georgia Pacific in Manassas, Virginia, learning about the manufacturing and production of the materials used in the industry. It was during this time that he became involved with the Northern Virginia Home Builders Association, and was hired as a warranty account representative.
Now, fifteen years later, Kevin represents Residential Warranty Company, LLC as an Account Executive. After serving in this capacity for the states of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Kevin returned to his home state in 1998 to serve RWC's clients in Maryland, Virginia, DC and Delaware. The business climate in the Baltimore - Washington area requires warranty representatives to have a thorough knowledge of all facets of the industry from construction knowledge, product knowledge, state statutes, and the elements of risk management. By combining this knowledge with his experience, Kevin is able to assist his clients in obtaining the most comprehensive programs available to protect their interests, as well as that of their clients.
Kevin's association with Residential Warranty Company, LLC since 1995 has resulted in being awarded with several corporate honors. These include Rookie of the Year, Outstanding Executive of the Year, and the Most Projected Units award. His industry involvement includes active participation in the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association (NVBIA), the Maryland National Capital Building Industry Association (MNCBIA), the Home Builders Association of Delaware, the Home Buildings Association of Maryland (HBAM), and the Frederick Home Builders Association.
Kevin and his family now reside ten minutes from his childhood home in Carroll County, Maryland. He and his wife, Terri, are the proud parents of three children, Scott, Samantha and Jessica. Kevin spends his spare time coaching soccer and lacrosse, hunting, wrestling with the kids, annoying his wife, and assisting his childhood friend, a Remodeler, with residential renovations.
