Joan McDonald joined the RWC Family in 1988 and has marketed the RWC Warranty program to the entire state of Georgia throughout her tenure, and recently to Tennessee as well. Prior to that, she spent 10 years in the Warranty Claims division of another warranty company where she gained much knowledge through construction workshops, claims mediations and seminars. Combined, these 25+ years of solid experience in the warranty and building industry have positioned Joan to be expertly available to answer questions on virtually any warranty related topic. Builders benefit not only from her experience as it relates to the building industry, but also from her in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the inner workings of all the RWC programs.
With the utmost confidence in the products, services and stability of RWC, Joan makes it her goal to teach prospective new Members about the advantages RWC brings to the table in comparison to the competition. Because of RWC's "Menu of Choices", Joan knows she has more to offer Builders than any other warranty company. She is also proud of the screening process RWC utilizes because that means that the ranks of membership are filled with the cream of the crop.
Joan has earned the highest Sales Achievement awards bestowed by RWC on numerous occasions with the most prestigious being the Outstanding Account Executive of the Year. As an active member of four Georgia HBA's, Joan has volunteered her time and effort whenever possible for membership drives, chapter meetings, home expos, etc.
When not busy answering Builder questions or attending HBA events, Joan and her husband John enjoy their granddaughter Shelby immensely. They have two grown children, Maria and Brian. Joan is a talented artist and often spends time in her Flowery Branch, GA creating beautiful oil paintings which she has sold at Juried Art shows on both national and local levels.
